The analysis of still life editorials from chosen magazine; related to fashion

THE COLOUR THEORY - still life fashion editorial
This post is dedicated to the fifth point of the brief according to which we need to make still life or collage research from a chosen magazine. I decided to go through Dazed & Confused magazine ( October 2013 issue). I found there very interesting still life editorials related to fashion. The photographer used a technique that combines the analogue with the digital - painting over photographs and manipulating natural processes in postproduction. For this editorial, the idea was to create chaos by using colour and paint everywhere, as if you were walking into the canvas and that is the reason why I love this editorial. The key inspiration for this editorial was music culture and British street style sensibility.
STYLING: ROBBIE SPENCER
PHOTOGRAPHY: SAM FALLS
I think that I did a massive research on still life photographer in previous posts which were based on lectures and the Internet research. Instead of this analysis which is based on magazine research.
