Looking For an Experience in Koffee Pot

The Koffee Pot was the first restaurant on the MUST VISIT list that is why together with my friends we decided to eat breakfast in there. In my opinion, this place is some kind of an institution here in the Northern Quarter. It is a greasy spoon kinda place with red leatherette booths, sauce pots on the table and a really good value breakfast! The Koffee Pot has been serving up good quality British staples to all walks of life in the Northern Quarter for a few years now. Well known for great brekkies, they also have homemade pies and other Koffee Pot classics! This heaven of psychedelic murals, red pleather booths and sticky sauce bottles has long been a favourite among touring musicians and in-the-know Mancunians. There are other options for the more adventurous early morning visitor, though: US-style steak and eggs served with decidedly British thick-cut chips, a Mexican-themed swirl of chorizo, peppers, chillies, egg and tortilla or the cracking smoked haddock rarebit. Throw in the wallet-friendly prices (the famed bacon sandwich is just £2) that is why it’s easy to see why you’ll need sharp elbows and a keen eye to book a table at the weekend.

This is how Koffee Pot looks from outside. In my opinion, the semblance is very interesting and unique. The logo of the restaurant is eye-catching what can increase the number of customers.
Window displays are very colourful what reflects welcoming and friendly mood of this place.

None of us had no idea what should we order for a traditional British breakfast. Thanks to very kind and warm staff who recommended us a few dishes, we have decided to order this marvel We didn't want to spend a fortune on food during the trip so we were dividing up all costs and dishes by three of us.

This is smoked haddock rarebit on toasted crumpets, tobasco tomatoes, poached egg(only £6). In my opinion, the presentation of this dish on the plate is gorgeous. But what about taste? Everything just works well together. Fish was a little bit crunchy, egg was very soft and tobasco tomatoes were very spicy. The other thing on which I paid my attention was the smell which was very nice and pleasant for my nose.
